Why drones?

Drones can safely and quickly spray and fertilise areas that are complicated and dangerous for Helicopters and Ground Operators.

The following examples are indicative of some projects that have been completed:

CASE 1

A hill covered in forestry debris had an overgrowth of gorse and blackberry established over several years.

Surrounded by neighbouring lifestyle blocks and farms the area is only a few acres in need of discrete spraying with minimal disruption to Alpacas and Horses. The Owner had limited viable options.

CASE 2

A small area of Willow in a marshland is to be removed as part of a native revegetation initiative. In less than an hour the drone eliminates the problem that was going to take 2 people 2 days to cut and paint stumps

CASE 3

A steep gulley with difficult access is planted with natives that are being invaded by Pampas and Woolly Nightshade. The owner wishes to retain the natives as much as possible whilst eliminating the weeds from the area

CASE 4

A steep hill is covered in Gorse which above head height.

Rather than slashing the vegetation manually and spraying the regrowth (labour intensive), a few hours with the drone overhead kills the gorse leaving it to dismantle over the next couple of years.

CASE 5

The roof of a large building (be it a dwelling or tunnel house) is in need of Moss and Mould treatment. As an alternative to scaffolding/temporary railing the drone sprays the roof in short time.

CASE 6

A steep embankment in the middle of a built up City is in need of total removal of vegetation. The area would take days to complete by ground spraying and dangerous to perform. The drone completes the area in a couple of hours.
